This is a vital, full-time, long-term supply position covering an extended absence, providing stability and a genuine opportunity to embed yourself within the school community. The role carries the full responsibilities of a permanent teacher, focusing on delivering high-quality, engaging Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5 depending on experience.

Key Requirements
... - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Recent and proven experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level (KS3-KS4 minimum)
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one)

- Adaptability and Flexibility: The capacity to quickly adjust teaching methods and plans to suit different classes and settings.
- Excellent Communication: Clear, articulate, and engaging verbal and written communication with students, staff, and parents.
- Differentiated Instruction: Skill in tailoring lessons to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all learners.
- IT Proficiency: Confidence in integrating educational technology and business-related software into lessons.
- Assessment and Feedback: Expertise in providing timely, constructive, and developmental feedback to drive student progress.
Core Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering innovative, engaging Business Studies lessons tailored to the curriculum.
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Upholding the academy's high expectations for student behaviour and achievement.
- Setting and marking work, including examinations, and providing constructive feedback.
- Contributing to the development of departmental resources and curriculum content.
- Participating in school duties, staff meetings, and professional development activities as required for a long-term placement.
- Monitoring and tracking student progress, implementing effective intervention strategies where necessary.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance and progress.
- Communicating effectively with parents/carers regarding student performance and well-being.
- Promoting an inclusive and supportive learning culture where all students feel valued.
