The Role:
This is a pivotal position for a dedicated Career Advisor to provide high-quality, impartial guidance to students across the secondary age range. Operating as a cornerstone of the school's support network, the successful candidate will empower students to make informed decisions about their GCSEs, A-Levels, apprenticeships, and higher education paths. This full-time, immediate-start role requires a proactive professional who can manage individual caseloads while collaborating with the wider teaching faculty to integrate career education into the daily curriculum.

Essential Requirements:
... - A Level 6 Qualification in Career Guidance and Development (or equivalent).
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-to-one impartial career guidance interviews with students.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive careers program that meets the Gatsby Benchmarks.
- Coordinate work experience placements and maintain relationships with local employers.
- Organise career fairs, guest speaker events, and university campus visits.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progression data.
- Collaborate with the SEND department to support vulnerable learners in their transitions.
- Stay updated on changes in labour market information (LMI) and educational legislation.
- Deliver workshops and assemblies on employability skills and interview techniques.
- Report to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on the effectiveness of the careers strategy.
