Looking for Multi Trade Carpenters who enjoy delivering a valued service to our customers. You'll be part of an established and friendly direct trades team working within residential properties throughout the area.
Responsibilities of a Multiskilled Tradesperson
- Complete a variety of carpentry, plumbing, and other maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all work meets professional standards and follows safety regulations.
- Communicate with customers and colleagues about job progress.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing company values.
- Follow all health and safety policies and use appropriate equipment.
- Complete jobs efficiently and on time.
- Manage job costs and use a "Schedule of Rates" for pricing.
- Be available for out-of-hours emergency calls.
- Maintain accurate records and paperwork.
- Use a smartphone or tablet to track jobs, hours, and materials.
- Procure materials from approved suppliers and manage van stock.
- Keep your work vehicle clean, in good condition, and report any issues.
- Assist other tradespeople as needed.
- Adapt to different tasks and undergo training to improve skills.
- Properly use and maintain all tools and equipment.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in a variety of trades, including carpentry and plumbing.
- Proven experience in carpentry and plumbing work.
- NVQ Level 2 certification or equivalent experience in a core trade.
- Experience working in a team environment to meet deadlines.
- A valid, clean driver's license.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work.
- A commitment to the company's values and behaviors.
