Attend court hearings and represent the views of children and families.
Provide supervision and support to junior social workers, sharing expertise and promoting best practice.
Collaborate effectively with multi-agency partners (lawyers, health professionals, educational staff) to ensure coordinated and effective interventions.
Contribute to the development and improvement of services within the team.
Requirements:
Registered with Social Care England.
Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a qualified Social Worker. Significant experience in both case management and court work within children's services is essential.
Excellent assessment, report-writing, communication, and advocacy skills.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation and procedures relating to family court proceedings.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage challenging situations.
Commitment to ethical practice and child-centered approaches.
