Location: Kendal (Office-based)
Pay Rate: ÂŁ16 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: 37 hours per week

This is a fulfilling and rewarding opportunity where you will be instrumental in delivering flexible, creative, and outcomes-focused support. You will work holistically with the whole family to identify their strengths and challenges, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate help.
Key Responsibilities:
Family Support & Assessment: Support with holistic, whole-family assessments and work alongside families to identify their strengths and challenges.
Early Help: Support the Lead Practitioner with Early Help Assessments and Plans, providing flexible, creative, outcomes-focused guidance to children, young people, and their families.
Direct Delivery: Deliver support to children and families in their own home and facilitate responsive group programs to develop parenting skills and confidence.
Advocacy & Access: Advocate on behalf of babies, children, and young people, ensuring families, particularly those facing barriers, can access necessary resources and services.
Multi-Agency Work: Build and maintain effective professional links, especially with schools and health partners, and attend multi-disciplinary meetings.
Integrated Services: Contribute to the delivery of integrated services, including initiatives like the Supporting Families Programme and UNICEF Baby Friendly status.
Safeguarding: Act appropriately and in line with policy on any child protection concerns.
Administration: Respond to enquiries, undertake timely and effective support reviews, and maintain accurate records in line with data protection regulations.

Proven experience working within a multi-agency environment (e.g., health, education, social care).
A proactive approach and the ability to work as part of a team.
Experience in conducting family assessments or similar support planning.
Strong communication and advocacy skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
