Mental Health Support Worker for ChildrenAgency Shifts
Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual seeking a rewarding career in mental health support? Randstad is seeking a Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Carlisle and West Cumbria. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £15-£16, with an immediate start available. You will be making a significant impact on the lives of children with disabilities and/or autism. This is a full-time position requiring 36 hours of work per week, with flexibility to travel across Carlisle and West Cumbria.
ExperienceExperience working with children with disabilities and/or autism is essential. Peg feeding experience is also required.
Skills- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to implement and follow care plans effectively
- Proficient in personal care assistance, including peg feeding
- Strong record-keeping and documentation abilities
While relevant qualifications are desirable, they are not essential. Comprehensive training will be provided. However, the following are mandatory:
- Full UK driving licence (essential for travel across Carlisle and West Cumbria)
- PMVA (BILD) certification
- Mandatory training certificates
- Enhanced DBS check (on the update service)
