A successful child support worker will be responsible for:
- Working effectively as part of a high-performing team of support workers
- Providing high-quality care and stability to vulnerable young people
- Supporting service users navigating early trauma and behavioural challenges
- Encouraging engagement with the local Elgin community and educational settings
- Maintaining clear, professional boundaries at all times
- Upholding a professional manner and working strictly to National Care Standards
- Working a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods
To be successful in your application, you will:
- Have proven experience in a residential setting with young people
- Bring a flexible, "can-do" attitude to every shift
- Possess strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Be registered (or willing to register) under the PVG scheme
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Have obtained, or be working towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
