Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Team Manager in the day-to-day management of the team, ensuring effective service delivery.
Provide supervision, guidance, and support to social workers and other team members.
Oversee complex cases and support decision-making around care planning, safeguarding, and permanency.
Promote a child-centered approach and ensure the team works in accordance with statutory duties and best practice.
Contribute to performance monitoring, quality assurance, and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements:
Social Work England registration.
Degree in Social Work (or equivalent).
Extensive post-qualifying experience, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
Strong understanding of legislation and practice relating to looked after children.
Enhanced DBS check.
