Role : Full Time
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities team in Carlisle. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and families, helping them to thrive.
About the Role:
- Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of children and families, understanding their strengths, needs, and challenges.
- Person-Centered Care Plans: Develop and implement individualised care plans, ensuring children's safety and well-being.
- Collaborative Working: Work with families, schools, health professionals, and other agencies to deliver effective support.
- Direct Support: Provide direct support to children and families through one-to-one sessions and community outreach.
- Facilitating Access: Help families access specialist services and resources.
- Advocacy: Champion the rights and needs of children with disabilities.
- Effective Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, adhering to legislation and guidelines.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW, BA Hons Social Work, or equivalent).
- Social Care England registration.
- Updated DBS check.
- Experience working with children with disabilities.
