Children's Support Worker (Therapeutic Residential)

Salary: £13.20 per hour
Additional Pay: £60.00 per sleep-in

The Role

The Schedule
This position is based on a 40-hour weekly contract, typically structured around 3 long day shifts which include sleep-in duties. This unique rota allows you to complete your full-time hours across fewer days, providing you with more concentrated time off to recharge.
Key Responsibilities:
Building Relationships: Developing trusting, consistent bonds with young people to help them feel safe and heard.
Daily Living: Supporting children with their daily routines, including education, hobbies, and meal times.
Therapeutic Support: Using trauma-informed techniques to help young people manage their emotions and navigate difficult moments.
Advocacy: Acting as a positive role model and ensuring the voices of the children are heard in all aspects of their care.
Teamwork: Collaborating with your team to maintain a high standard of care and accurate daily records.
