Key Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one or small-group support to students with their schoolwork.
- Assisting with classroom management and supervising students.
- Preparing and setting up classroom materials for lessons.
- Reinforcing positive behaviour and school policies.
- Supporting the teacher with the delivery of lessons and curriculum activities.
Necessary Skills:
- Patience and Empathy: To understand and respond to the emotional and learning needs of children.
- Adaptability: The capacity to respond to changing classroom situations and work with students of different ages and abilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and listening skills to interact effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Teamwork: The ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions from the class teacher.
