Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: £14.50 - £16.50 per hour (dependent on clearance & pay type)
About the Role
We are recruiting a reliable General Site Labourer / Operative for an ongoing project in Crawley.
This role offers stable, standard day hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday) with steady weekly pay. Due to the nature of the site and location, a Basic DBS Check is required, and there is potential to be put through Airside Clearance for upcoming airport-related works.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting site trades, moving construction materials, and supporting daily operations.
- Keeping walkways, work zones, and site facilities clean, tidy, and safe.
- Sweeping, clearing debris, and managing site skips.
- Following site health, safety, and security protocols at all times.
Requirements
- DBS Check: Must hold an active Basic DBS Check (or be willing to undergo one immediately).
- CSCS Card: A CSCS card is ideal/preferred, but not essential-if you do not hold a CSCS card, we still want to hear from you!
- Airside Potential: Willingness to undergo background checks and vetting for Airside Clearance pass approval.
- PPE: Standard safety boots, high-vis vest/jacket, and hard hat.
- Hard-working, punctual, and reliable with a good work ethic.
- Right to work in the UK.
Working Hours & Benefits
- Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (40-45 hours per week).
- Location: Crawley (RH10/RH11).
- Duration: Long-term ongoing work.
- Weekly pay via PAYE, Umbrella, or CIS options.
