We're partnering with a leading client in the construction industry to find a highly skilled Finance professional ready to drive significant impact in a forward-thinking organisation. We're on the hunt for a dynamic Commercial Finance Manager to join their team, someone ready to play a pivotal role in shaping their financial success and strategic growth.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly preparation and review of regional cash and P&L forecasts, including budgeting.
- Managing 3-month cash flow forecasts and driving cash efficiency.
- Reviewing cost to complete, leading project review meetings, and providing management accounts.
- Ensuring balance sheet integrity and challenging WIP assumptions.
- Maintaining data accuracy in COINS and Anaplan, and improving financial systems.
- Business partnering with Sales, Operations, and Commercial teams.
- Supporting the Finance Director with Board packs, Joint Venture reporting, and audit schedules.
- Providing strategic input through flash report analysis, challenging management, and leading ad-hoc reporting projects with senior leadership.
Essentials
- Qualifications: You must be ACA / ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Proven Experience: A proven track record in producing concise management information and proven post-qualification experience are essential.
- Process Improvement: Experience in implementing new processes and procedures and consistently challenging them to improve quality.
- Analytical Prowess: Very strong knowledge of Excel and the ability to follow up queries and obtain explanations of variances to budget.
- Business Acumen: Possess commercial acumen and be flexible in your approach.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working in the construction sector.
- Familiarity with COINS accounting system and Anaplan.
