Location: Nottinghamshire & Lincolnshire Postcodes
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Highly Competitive, Commensurate with Experience & Qualifications
I am currently recruiting on behalf of my esteemed client for a highly skilled Commercial Gas Maintenance Engineer to join their dedicated team. This role will see you working across the Nottingham and Lincoln postcode areas, carrying out vital maintenance and repair work. A core responsibility will be ensuring all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive tasks meet all required legislative standards, with timely and accurate completion of all associated paperwork.
You will consistently perform PPM duties, completing detailed reports and documentation. It's essential that all statutory and mandatory tasks are finalised within their stipulated timescales, with correct certification issued and all remedial works clearly identified. As a Gas Engineer, you'll competently respond to reactive and emergency calls, efficiently using handheld technology for all task completions.
This position requires participation in a comprehensive out-of-hours call-out rota, ensuring full client coverage. You'll also provide support to other team members as needed, or as directed by a Supervisor or Contract Manager. I am specifically looking for a proactive mindset for identifying new work opportunities on client sites and gathering information for quotes. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing visiting sub-contractors to ensure adherence to work quality and Health and Safety standards, issuing permits, controlling minor projects, and conducting escort duties when necessary.
