The Role
You will be responsible for providing effective teaching and leading pupil learning in line with schemes of work and policies. Key responsibilities include:
Teaching & Learning: Using a variety of teaching methods, including active learning and ICT, to match curricular objectives and the diverse needs of pupils
Curriculum Development: Contributing to the creation and consistent implementation of effective schemes of work. You will need a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum programmes of study and specifications for relevant examination courses.
Assessment & Progress: Being responsible for the processes of identification, assessment, recording, and reporting for students in your charge. This includes tracking pupil progress and using data analysis to inform practice and raise standards.
Pastoral Care: Participating in pastoral responsibilities and acting as a positive role model to students through professional conduct and presentation.
School Community: Attending Parents' Consultation Evenings , contributing to enrichment opportunities , and establishing effective working relationships with colleagues and parents.
