Randstad C&P are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager working on a high profile education scheme in Oxford for a Tier One contractor. The project is set to last a minimum of 18 months, with the conrtactor having a historic prevalence in the area, completing high value jobs to an excellent standard. The role offers an excellent salary of up to £85,000 plus package, in addition to a welcoming, inviting culture with exceptional perks and the opportunity for further progression.
Experience managing multiple schemes of at least £10m is a requirement for this position, as is experience working with a Tier One contractor in the past. Experience working on schools is also a prerequisite for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of contract administration, including drafting, negotiation, and execution of contracts with vendors, partners, and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement contract strategies that support the objectives of the education scheme.
- Monitor contract performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise in a timely manner.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential liabilities.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or a related field.
- Proven experience in contract management, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong understanding of contract law and procurement processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
