Cover Supervisor- Chester
We are seeking reliable and professional Cover Supervisors to support secondary education across the historic city of Chester and its outlying areas. This role is perfect for those who can lead a classroom with a calm authority and a supportive approach to student learning.
We provide staffing for schools throughout the Chester district, including:
- Chester City Centre: Garden Quarter, Boughton, and Handbridge.
- North Chester: Upton, Blacon, and Mollington.
- South Chester: Lache, Westminster Park, and Eccleston.
- East Chester: Vicars Cross, Christleton, Guilden Sutton, and Mickle Trafford.
- Surrounding Villages: Tarporley, Malpas, and Saughall.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children/young people (11-16 years).
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Strong verbal and written skills to engage students effectively.
Key Duties:
- Supervise students across various subjects.
- Ensure pupils complete pre-planned work left by the absent teacher.
- Maintain a positive learning environment by enforcing school behaviour codes.
- Assist pupils with queries regarding the set tasks and learning materials.
- Register students and return completed work to the department head.
- Manage any immediate classroom emergencies according to school procedures.
