About the role:

• Supervise classes of students in the absence of their regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, ensuring students are engaged and on task.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and productive learning environment.
• Answer student questions and provide guidance to support their learning.
• Follow school policies and procedures, including those relating to safeguarding.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a confident and authoritative presence in the classroom.
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is adaptable, resilient, and able to think on their feet.
• Is a strong team player with a positive attitude.
• Holds a degree or equivalent qualification (desirable but not essential).
• Experience working with young people is a must.
