Cover Supervisor- Liverpool
Due to rising demand across the city, we are looking for confident and proactive individuals to join our secondary education teams as Cover Supervisors in and across Liverpool.
As a Cover Supervisor in Liverpool, you will play a vital role in ensuring that student learning continues seamlessly when a regular teacher is absent.
It is an ideal role for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with strong leadership skills who wants a flexible and rewarding role in education.
Daily Rate £90 to £95 per day, based on your experience level.
Duties:
- Leading classroom sessions and supervising students while they complete pre-set work.
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring all students follow school rules.
- Handing out resources, textbooks, and worksheets needed for the lesson.
- Answering general questions from students to help them stay focused on their tasks.
- Collecting completed work at the end of the lesson to return to the regular teacher.
- Leaving detailed feedback for the teacher regarding student progress and behaviour.
- Ensuring the classroom is left tidy and students are dismissed safely on time.
Skills Needed:
- Strong confidence and a professional presence when leading a group of young people.
- Excellent communication skills to give clear instructions to the whole class.
- The ability to stay calm and fair when managing challenging student behaviour.
- Flexibility to work in different subject areas and adapt to various school environments.
- Good time-management skills to ensure the school day runs smoothly.
