We're recruiting dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our network of secondary schools across the Sefton area this September. This is a brilliant chance to build your experience and make a real impact on students' education. We are looking for individuals who can hit the ground running, manage a classroom with confidence, and foster a positive atmosphere for learning.
Location: We are looking for a group of local schools located throughout Sefton, from the southern areas like Bootle and Litherland (L20, L21) to the coastal towns of Crosby (L23) and Formby (L37), right up to Southport and its surroundings (PR8, PR9).
Pay: We offer a competitive daily rate of £90-£95, with both full-time and part-time options available to suit your lifestyle.
What you'll be doing (Your Main Duties):
- Delivering continuity by supervising pre-set work and ensuring lessons run smoothly.
- Effectively managing student behaviour to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Answering general questions and providing support to keep students focused.
- Collating completed work at the end of the lesson.
- Contributing to wider school life and undertaking administrative duties where required.

Skills & Qualifications needed:
- Experience in an educational or youth work setting.
- A calm, professional, and resilient approach to classroom challenges.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- A minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and behaviour management strategies is a bonus.
- Commitment to the full safeguarding and welfare of all students.
