With the increasing demand, we are looking for capable, confident Cover Supervisors for secondary schools across Crosby (L23). If you bring background experience as a support worker, sports coach, youth worker, teaching assistant, or tutor, you already have the authority and adaptability needed to oversee pre-planned lessons smoothly.
Key Duties:
- Lead pre-planned lessons efficiently across various subjects during teacher absences.
- Deliver engaging educational content while keeping students focused and on-task.
- Maintain strong, positive behaviour management in line with school policies.
- Support student learning and foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
- Complete accurate attendance registers and report back to core teaching staff.
Requirements:
- Proven prior experience working directly with children or young people.
- High level of confidence in whole-class management and communication.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
