The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a team of committed professionals. This role involves supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain on task and focused on their learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared work, managing classroom behaviour, and providing a positive and productive learning environment.

Requirements:
... - Experience of working with young people in an educational or similar setting.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one)
- A genuine passion for education and working with young people.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Ensuring students are on task and completing the work set by the absent teacher.
- Responding to student questions and providing support as needed.
- Liaising with senior leaders and other staff members as appropriate.
- Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
- Following the school's health and safety procedures.
- Reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff member.
- Collecting completed work at the end of the lesson.
