The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you are the backbone of the daily school operation. You will be an active presence, delivering high-quality lessons and interventions under the guidance of senior staff. Whether you are managing a full classroom of 30 students or working one-on-one with a learner who needs extra support, your goal is to ensure that learning never stops. You will be a role model, a motivator, and a vital part of the academic journey for students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned cover lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Maintain a purposeful and positive learning environment.
- Implement and uphold the Academy's behaviour policy consistently.
- Deliver small group interventions to boost student progress.
- Provide one-to-one bespoke support for individual learners.
- Ensure all students are engaged and on-task with their set work.
- Collect completed work at the end of the lesson and return it to the appropriate teacher.
- Provide feedback to teachers regarding student engagement and any issues during the lesson.
- Establish fair, respectful, and trusting relationships with all students.
