Are you a recent graduate or an aspiring teacher looking to gain valuable, hands-on experience in the classroom? We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Cover Supervisors to join vibrant secondary schools across the Southampton area. This is your chance to make a real impact on student's learning journeys while building the confidence and experience needed for a successful career in education.
What we offer- Competitive Pay: £100 - £130 per day, paid weekly.
- Work-Life Balance: Fixed school hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Term time only).

- Supportive Environment: Work within a range of secondary schools in the Hampshire area.
- Supervise secondary school students (Key Stages 3 & 4) across various subjects during teacher absences.
- Maintain a positive, orderly, and productive classroom environment where students feel supported.
- Deliver prepared work set by the department and ensure students stay on task.
- Collect completed work and provide constructive feedback on student progress and behaviour.
- Uphold school policies regarding behaviour management and safeguarding at all times.
- Education: Degree level or higher education qualification. Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply!
- Experience: Practical experience working with young people, such as tutoring, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, or volunteering.
- Skills: Confidence, strong communication abilities, resilience, and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Requirements: An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for a new one).
