Immediate Hire: Cover Supervisors - Sefton & Surrounding Areas
We are urgently seeking confident and proactive Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools throughout the Sefton borough. If you live in or near Crosby, Bootle, Formby, Maghull, or Southport, we have local classroom roles ready for you today.
Pay Rate: £90.00 - £95.00 per day (Negotiable based on experience).
Local roles available across all Sefton postcodes: L20, L21, L22, L23, L30, L31, L37, L38, PR8, and PR9.
Duties:
- Supervise students while they complete pre-set work from their regular teacher.
- Encourage a positive learning atmosphere by managing classroom behaviour effectively.
- Assist pupils with their tasks and answer general questions about the work.
- Collect all student work and resources at the end of each period.
- Ensure the classroom is left tidy and report back on student progress.
Skills Needed:
- Strong communication skills and a confident presence when speaking to groups.
- Ability to remain calm and professional while managing a classroom.
- High level of organisation and the ability to follow lesson plans accurately.
- A positive, patient approach when working with young people from various backgrounds.
- Must hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS certificate.
