Cover Supervisors Wanted Across Sefton & Liverpool

We are urgently hiring Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across every corner of Sefton and Liverpool. From the coastal schools of Southport to the vibrant hubs of South Liverpool, your perfect local role is waiting. We offer day to day and long term roles.
Daily Rate: £90.00 - £95.00 per day (Negotiable based on experience).
We have roles in:
... - South Sefton & North Liverpool: Bootle, Litherland, Anfield, and Walton (L4, L5, L20, L21).
- Central Sefton & Crosby: Waterloo, Crosby, and Maghull (L22, L23, L30, L31).
- North Sefton & Coast: Formby and Southport (L37, PR8, PR9).
- South Liverpool & City: Wavertree, Aigburth, Woolton, and City Centre (L1, L3, L15, L17, L18, L25).
- East Liverpool: West Derby, Old Swan, and Huyton (L12, L14, L36).
Duties:
- Supervise students while they complete work left by their regular teacher.
- Encourage a positive learning atmosphere by managing classroom behaviour effectively.
- Assist pupils with their tasks and answer general questions about the work.
- Walk around the room regularly to keep students engaged and minimise distractions.
- Enforce school policies regarding uniform and the use of mobile phones.
- Collect all student work and resources at the end of each period.
- Ensure the classroom is left tidy and organised for the next group.
- Report back on student progress and behaviour by leaving a brief note for the teacher.
- Follow all school safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times.
Skills Needed:
- Strong communication skills and a confident presence when speaking to groups.
- Ability to remain calm and professional while managing a classroom.
- High level of organisation and the ability to follow lesson plans accurately.
- A positive, patient approach when working with young people from various backgrounds.
- Must hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS certificate.
