Requirements
... - A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade A*-C or 9-5, including English and Maths.
- Extensive, demonstrable experience of managing and developing school MIS software and data systems.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one)
Essential Skills
- Expert in school Management Information Systems (e.g., SIMS, Bromcom, Arbor).
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office software, particularly Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
- Meticulous attention to detail for accuracy in data entry, reporting, and compliance.
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage complex, cyclical processes like exam seasons and data deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data trends and produce meaningful reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training staff and liaising with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on the effective management and development of the school's Management Information System (MIS) software (e.g., SIMS/Bromcom/Arbor).
- Oversee all aspects of internal and external examination administration, ensuring strict compliance with awarding body regulations.
- Produce accurate, insightful data reports and analyses for senior leaders, teachers, and wider stakeholders to inform assessment and strategy.
- Manage and maintain the school's student and staff databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Coordinate the annual school census and other statutory data submissions.
- Provide specialist training and support to staff on data systems, reporting, and exam processes.
- Develop and implement efficient data collection and tracking processes across the academy.
- Create and maintain complex spreadsheets and databases using MS Office (especially Excel and Access) for various reporting needs.
- Liaise with examination boards, external agencies, and internal departments on all data and exam-related matters.
- Manage the recruitment, training, and deployment of exam invigilators.
