Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Science in the strategic leadership and management of the Science department.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Science curriculum.
- Oversee the teaching and learning of Science across the school.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress and attainment.
- Support and mentor Science teachers.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS).
- A strong track record of successful teaching and leadership in Science.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to raising standards of achievement.
- 2 recent professional references
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Eligibility to work in the UK(sponsorship is not available with this role)
- Excellent knowledge of the Science curriculum and assessment.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to inspiring and motivating young learners.
