In this role, you will:
... - Champion Inclusion: Work alongside the SENDCo to promote high expectations and a culture of inclusion for all SEND students
- Lead & Manage: Oversee the annual review process for EHCP students and analyse data to set appropriate targets
- Curriculum Development: Lead and manage the inclusive curriculum in KS3 and KS4, ensuring its quality and effectiveness
- Promote Best Practice: Share best practices with staff, advise on effective teaching methods for SEND students and monitor differentiation in teaching and learning
- Enrichment & Engagement: Promote cultural enrichment for SEND students through a range of activities and opportunities
- Specialist Teaching: Deliver high-quality, specialised teaching to groups of KS3 and KS4 students, planning and implementing interventions outlined in EHCPs
- Staff Development: Develop and support Educational Assistants and Individual Support Assistants in their curriculum support skills
- Transition Support: Lead transition provision for SEND students, working closely with relevant staff and external agencies
- Parent & Carer Partnership: Liaise with parents and carers to support students' learning, behavior and well-being
- Team Leadership: Contribute to building and leading a highly qualified and cohesive SEND team
What We Offer:
- Salary will be between £36,413 - £53,994 with TLR 2 from £3,391 and a SEN Allowance from £2,679
- A full-time, Permanent position (35 hours per week), 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

What You'll Need:
- A good quality degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A SEND-related qualification or the willingness to obtain one
- Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
- 2 recent professional references
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- A commitment to continued professional development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in specialist SEND teaching and raising achievement for SEND students
- A strong commitment to safeguarding
