Design Technology / Food Technology Teacher | Knowsley | Long-term Role

We are seeking a Design Technology / Food Technology Teacher to join a supportive school in Knowsley. This long-term placement starts in September 2025 and is open to all experience levels, including NQTs.

Salary: Competitive, paid weekly (AWR compliant)

Responsibilities:

Teach DT and Food Tech up to Key Stage 4 / GCSE.
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons.
Manage classroom behaviour and assess student progress.
Collaborate with department colleagues.

Requirements:

Relevant degree and UK QTS.
Strong subject knowledge in DT and Food Tech.
Proven classroom management skills.
A background in Engineering is highly desirable.
