Design Technology/Food Technology Teacher

Are you a passionate Design Technology / Food Technology Teacher looking for your next role in Knowsley?

We're recruiting for a long-term position at a supportive school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to join a vibrant and passionate team. The role starts in September 2025, with trial shifts available beforehand.

The Role:

Teach Design Technology and Food Technology up to Key Stage 4 / GCSE.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons for students of all abilities.
Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and monitor student progress.
Collaborate with colleagues and attend school meetings.

About You:

You must have a relevant undergraduate degree and UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). NQTs and overseas-trained teachers are encouraged to apply.
Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills are essential.
A background in Engineering is highly desirable.
You must be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil well being.
