Enthusiastic Teacher of Design and Technology Wanted for Thriving Secondary School in East Grinstead
A vibrant and oversubscribed secondary school in the heart of East Grinstead is seeking to appoint a dynamic and innovative Teacher of Design and Technology to join its successful and well-resourced department. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire the next generation of designers and engineers in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. This role is for a general Design and Technology teacher, and does not include the teaching of Food Technology.
Our school is committed to fostering a love of learning and creativity, and the Design and Technology department plays a pivotal role in this mission. We boast excellent facilities and a dedicated team of specialist staff who are passionate about their subject. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for A-Level teaching for a suitably qualified applicant. Our curriculum is designed to be engaging and challenging, encouraging students to explore a range of materials and processes, including product design, resistant materials, and systems and control.

- Be an outstanding and passionate teacher of Design and Technology with a proven track record of achieving excellent student outcomes.
- Have the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.

- Possess strong subject knowledge and a keen interest in emerging technologies and design trends.
- Be eager to contribute to the wider life of the school.
