We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Design & Technology Teacher to join our vibrant and inclusive school community from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed professional to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in a well-equipped and forward-thinking school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging DT lessons for KS3 and KS4 that meet the needs of all learners.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress and attainment regularly.
- Maintain a safe, productive, and well-organised learning environment, including workshop and practical areas.
- Support students in developing practical skills, creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
- Prepare students effectively for internal and external assessments (e.g., GCSE Design & Technology).
- Engage with parents and carers to communicate student progress and encourage positive outcomes.

We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Is an inspiring DT practitioner with strong subject knowledge (specialisms in Product Design, Resistant Materials, or Engineering are welcome).
- Brings creativity, enthusiasm, and energy into the classroom.
- Has high expectations for all learners and the ability to engage and challenge pupils of all abilities.
- Can contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
- QTS (or equivalent) and relevant teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
