This role involves working in the Reception class and supporting pupils with special needs, including global delay and speech/language difficulties. - Weekly pay and competitive daily rates £90 - £100 per day.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting children to learn both inside and outside the classroom.
- Supporting teachers to set up exciting and innovative lessons.
- Creating inviting activities for the children in your care
- Teaching basic life skills to the children and supporting development
- You will communicate effectively with children, staff, parents and carers where required
- You must adapt your support depending on the needs of the children
Requirements:
- Teaching Assistant experience is desirable but not essential
- EAL experience is highly desirable
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
- At least 6 months experience working with children (must be able to reference your recent work with 2 professional references)
- Eligibility to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not available for this role)
- A true passion to work with children
- Able to display sensitivity and patience
- CACHE L2/L3 or direct nursery experience preferred
- We welcome applicants who have also worked in other childcare settings such as youth workers / brownie or scout leaders etc
