Role & Responsibilities
As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development and well-being of young children. You will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Your focus will be on understanding and meeting the individual needs of each child, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional development through play-based learning.
Main tasks include
- Conducting playful activities to contribute to the nurturing and development of young children.
- Focusing on the mental development of children and understanding their individual needs.
- Comfortably managing 1 to 1 or group learning sessions for Early Years age groups.
- Contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Assessing and tracking children's progress and development.
- At least 6 months to 1 year of experience working with children in the UK within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Child care-based experience is preferred.
- Willingness to work in a flexible environment (long term, part-time, or day-to-day).
- QTS, NQT, or relevant work experience/certification accepted.
- Enhanced DBS on the updated service is mandatory.
- Ability to engage children through creative and educational play.
- Understanding of child development principles within the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
