What you'll be doing
You'll play an active role in the day-to-day life of the nursery, providing high-quality care and education to our youngest learners.
Relationship Building: Working closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure every child feels safe and supported.
Observation & Planning: Tracking developmental milestones and creating inspiring, age-appropriate activities.
Nurturing Environment: Maintaining a clean, safe, and stimulating space specifically tailored for the needs of babies and toddlers.
Team Collaboration: Working as part of a cohesive team to ensure the smooth running of the Under 2's room.
What we're looking for
We need someone who brings energy, warmth, and a genuine passion for early childhood development.
Qualifications: A relevant childcare qualification (ideally NVQ Level 2 or 3).
Experience: Proven experience in an early years setting, particularly with the Under 2 age group.
Skills: Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work on your own initiative.
Mindset: A positive, can-do attitude and a team-focused approach to daily challenges.
Hours and Benefits
The role is full-time, working all year round. The nursery is open Monday to Friday (7.30am - 6.00pm), with hours worked on a shift basis.
Financial Rewards: Salary starting from £27,000 p.a. and a £1,000 Golden Hello for qualified practitioners.
