We are seeking an enthusiastic General Early Years Teaching Assistant to support our youngest learners. This is a full-time support role where you will play a vital part in implementing literacy and numeracy programs while fostering a safe, nurturing environment. The Role
The role entails providing essential support within the EYFS setting. This is a full-time position, operating Monday to Friday. You will contribute to the development of young minds through both structured learning and creative play.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working with classes, small groups, and on a 1:1 basis. You should be proactive in assisting with the development of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programs where required. Flexibility and the ability to build quick rapport with young children are essential.

Responsibilities involve:
Preparation of resources and engaging activities for the whole class, small groups, and 1:1 support.
Implementing literacy and numeracy programs tailored to the EYFS framework.
Providing feedback to pupils and teachers regarding progress and achievement.
Collaborating with teachers and specialist support staff to organise appropriate activities.
Monitoring and tracking pupil development to support personal growth and confidence.
Promoting positive behaviour and active participation in all classroom activities.
Assisting with personal care programs and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Requirements:
TA Qualified (Level 2 or Level 3, or actively working towards one).
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
Experience working with young children and knowledge of SEN/learning difficulties.
Possession of an Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to acquire a new one).
Comfort managing challenging behaviours with a creative and flexible supporting style.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
