Location: City of London, London
Salary: £47,000 + Overtime & Call-out
Shift: Monday - Friday (Standard Days)
On-Call: 1 in 2 OR 1 in 3 Rota
The Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our resident site team in the heart of Westminster. This isn't a "lone wolf" kind of job; you'll be working within a tight-knit engineering department where communication and technical support for your colleagues are just as important as your toolkit.
You will be responsible for the planned (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a prestigious estate, ensuring all electrical systems are operating at peak safety and efficiency.
What's in it for you?
Stability: A consistent Monday to Friday schedule in a central, iconic location.
Earnings: A competitive base of £47,000, with significant uplift through the call-out rota and overtime.
Environment: Work in a high-profile setting where no two days are the same.
Team Culture: Join a group that actually has each other's backs-no "passing the buck" here.
What you'll bring to the team:
The Credentials: Fully qualified Sparky (Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds + 18th Edition).
The Mindset: You must be a team player. We are looking for someone who shares knowledge, helps out when things get busy, and communicates clearly.
The Flexibility: Comfortable with a 1 in 2 or 1 in 3 call-out rota to ensure site 24/7 resilience.
Technical Grunt: Experience in commercial maintenance (Lighting, Power, Motors, Starters, Emergency Lighting testing, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
Conducting routine PPMs and responding to emergency breakdowns.
Fault finding on complex electrical systems.
Managing minor installations and project works.
Liaising with clients and sub-contractors with a professional, "can-do" attitude.
