What you will do
As a Project Engineer, you will create project plans and proposals that will support and improve
our business. You'll oversee all stages of projects that are assigned to you, from initial concept,
through execution to final acceptance, ensuring all work meets the relevant standards and
guidelines from a design, safety and environmental standpoint. You will support by drafting
technical specifications and requests for quotations from OEMs and contractor partners.
Your role involves the overseeing of project engineering activities to ensure the area you are
responsible for is completed on time and to budget, safely and to the designed standard.
Problem-solving and liaising with internal and external stakeholders is critical to your success.
What you will need
The Project Engineer will hold a strong background within the Heavy Industry sector. A degree in
Engineering and Chartered Engineer status is desirable but not essential. A solid understanding
of project management techniques, risk assessment, and safety study methods is ideal,
however, individuals who are successful will be expected to develop themselves and training will
be provided. Excellent communication skills are crucial, as you will represent the business
externally and act as a company ambassador.
A high level of engineering competency in Electrical disciplines is expected. You should also
have excellent time management, problem solving and analytical abilities.
