Are you an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor looking for a challenging role within the thriving water sector?
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of electrical installations on our vital water infrastructure projects. You will report directly to the M&E Manager/Lead Site Supervisor and be instrumental in supervising and controlling all electrical site activities, guaranteeing compliance with specifications, contract timelines, and the highest health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise site Electrical installations, ensuring adherence to design and quality standards.
- Champion SHE standards, ensuring safe systems of work are consistently followed by all.
- Verify new electrical systems and oversee the safe isolation of LV electrical systems.
- Monitor supply chain performance and programme, actively reviewing and monitoring supplier inspection and test plans for relevance and accuracy.
- Attend site inductions and toolbox talks, promoting a culture of safety and continuous learning.
- Provide essential support to Commissioning activities where required.
- Actively participate in collaborative planning meetings, contributing to the development of site delivery programmes.
- As the Electrical Appointed Person, ensure strict adherence to electrical safety rules and the production of supporting documentation in line with Thames electrical safety rules.
- Carry out electrical isolations and regular electrical safety inspections on temporary and permanent equipment.
- Conduct 121s with supply chain supervisors, ensuring "Take 5s" are diligently carried out.
- Assist with the compilation of project takeover documentation.
- Oversee electrical testing in line with BS7671, reviewing test results against Guidance Note 3 and manufacturer literature.
- Issue limitation of access permits.
- Maintain a comprehensive daily diary of site activities.
About You:
You will be a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Site Supervisor with a proven track record in a similar role. You are a strong communicator, a natural leader, and possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.

- SSSTS or SMSTS - Required
- Appointed Person Status - Required
- FAAW - Required
- ECS card - Required
- C&G 2330 or 2360 in Electrical Installations - Required
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations - Required
- IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations - Required
- 2391 Test and Inspect - Preferred
