Are you an experienced Electrician looking for a stable role where you can make a genuine difference in the community? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team delivering high-quality electrical repairs, testing, and installation works within social housing.
You will be the face of our service, ensuring that residents' homes are safe, compliant, and well-maintained.
The Role
Working independently or as part of a team, you will undertake a variety of domestic electrical tasks across a dedicated area. Your focus will be on "right first time" delivery, ensuring all works comply with BS7671 and strict Health and Safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical repairs, maintenance, and new installations.
Conduct EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports) and remedial works.
Diagnose faults and identify effective, long-term solutions.
Record accurate data and job completion details via a PDA/mobile system.
Participate in monthly Team Briefs, Toolbox Talks, and Technical Bulletins.
About You
We are looking for a confident communicator with a positive, inclusive attitude. You should be comfortable working in a domestic setting and capable of managing your own workload and materials to meet achievable timescales.
Essential Qualifications:
To be considered, you must hold an ECS Gold Card and one of the following (or equivalent):
Level 3 NVQ Diploma (2357, 5357, 2356, or 2347).
EAL Building Services Engineering (Level 3) - Electrotechnical Installation.
Level 3 Diploma in Electrotechnical Studies and Practice (Military Engineering).
Must include AM2 Assessment.
BS7671 (18th Edition) qualification.
