Location: Stafford
Duration: 12-month initial contract with a strong likelihood of extension.
Rate: Up to £38.80 per hour (PAYE)
Work Schedule: 37 hours per week (Early finish on Fridays!)
What You'll Do
As a core member of a product development team, your mission is knowledge generation through test execution. You will:
Lead engine performance and emissions calibration for the 4000 and 5000 Series diesel product ranges.
Match hardware to specific customer requirements and specify new software strategies.
Execute data analysis, reporting, and presentation of results to leadership.
Collaborate closely with separate design and test functions to influence facility and design changes.
Utilise advanced tools like the Vector suite (CANape) and internal data systems to drive product excellence.
The ideal candidate will bring
Minimum of 3 years in engine performance and emissions calibration, ideally within the automotive, industrial, or power industries.
An Engineering Degree or equivalent professional experience.
Practical experience with worldwide emissions regulations, measurement techniques, and high-speed data capture systems.
Strong skills in data analysis with a high level of attention to detail.
The ability to present technical findings clearly and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
