A Large Global Manufacturer is looking for a passionate Engine Test Technician to join their world-class facility in Peterborough. The Opportunity
Located at a premier engine facility in Peterborough, you will join the Global Engine Development (GED) team This team is instrumental in the development, validation, and certification of new products, as well as supporting current engine lines.
- Role Focus: 85% of your time will be dedicated to test bed operations, with the remaining 15% focused on training, development, and improvement activities.
- Core Responsibilities: You will install engines into test cells, connect measurement equipment, and execute engine testing to meet specific customer requirements.
- Technical Problem Solving: You will diagnose and fix faults on both engines and test cell equipment, ensuring high-quality data collection.
- Collaboration: You will work closely with engineers to conduct technical investigations into future products, materials, and processes.
- Contract Duration: This is a 12-month contract.

Compensation
- Basic Rate: Up to £14.46 per hour.
- Total Rate: Up to £17.35 per hour (including the 20% shift allowance).
