We are seeking an exceptional English Teacher to join our network of secondary schools across Liverpool including the city centre and surrounding areas (L1-L8), North Liverpool (L9-L13, L20-L23), South Liverpool (L14-L19), and further afield (L24-L40). This is an opportunity to teach a dynamic and engaging curriculum to Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils, preparing them for their GCSEs and beyond. We offer a competitive daily rate of £150 - £220 per day, depending on experience.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Planning and Delivering Engaging Lessons: Develop and teach creative and challenging lessons in English Language and English Literature, in line with the National Curriculum.
- Assessment & Feedback: Mark student's work, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic progress.
- Behaviour Management: Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment, fostering a culture of respect and high expectations.
- Exam Preparation: Prepare students thoroughly for their GCSE English exams, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to succeed.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of the English department's curriculum and resources.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A relevant degree in English, English Literature, or a related subject.
- Proven experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for the English language.
- The ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all pupils.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
