Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)- You must be a fully qualified teacher in the UK.
- A strong understanding of the English National Curriculum.
- The ability to explain complex ideas in simple, exciting ways.
- Good at planning ahead and meeting deadlines.
- Experience in managing classroom behaviour effectively.
Key Duties:
- Teaching: Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students aged 11-16 (Key Stage 3 & 4).
- Inspiration: Help students develop a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking.
- Assessment: Mark work and provide helpful feedback to help students improve.
- Support: Help students prepare for their GCSE exams.
- Environment: Maintain a positive, safe, and productive classroom.
