Role type: Full or Part-Time and Long-Term or Short-Term.
Key Duties:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all ability levels.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive environment.
- Mark student's work regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Track student progress and use data to inform your future lesson planning.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations, including GCSEs.
- Collaborate with department colleagues to share best practices and resources.
- Attend staff meetings, departmental briefings, and professional development days.
- Communicate with parents regarding student achievement and areas for growth.
- Supervise students outside of the classroom, such as during break or lunch duties.
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Good communication skills and subject knowledge.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
