We are recruiting passionate and skilled English teachers for schools across Sefton - including Southport, Bootle, Crosby, Formby, and surrounding areas - starting this September. Join a supportive teaching community and deliver inspiring lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.

As an English teacher, you'll inspire students to develop essential skills in reading, writing, analysis, and communication. You'll design creative and engaging lessons that challenge learners and build confidence, helping them unlock their potential. Your role involves assessing progress, providing meaningful feedback, and supporting diverse learners in a positive classroom environment.

Key Duties:

• Deliver English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 & KS4.
• Inspire a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Support pupils with varying levels of ability, including SEN support.
• Plan engaging and inclusive lessons that meet national curriculum standards.

Must-Haves:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of English curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Passion for student progress and achievement.
