English Teachers Needed | Sefton Secondary Schools
We are seeking inspiring English Teachers to work in secondary schools throughout the Borough of Sefton. From the coastal classrooms of Southport to the vibrant schools in Bootle, we have a variety of roles to suit your lifestyle.
- Pay: £150 - £220 per day (paid weekly).
- Location: Crosby, Waterloo, Bootle, Litherland, Netherton, Formby, Southport and surrounding areas of Sefton.
Duties:
- Deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons to secondary students.
- Plan and prepare creative lesson materials that meet national curriculum standards.
- Mark student's work and provide helpful feedback to encourage academic growth.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the English department to support school-wide literacy goals.
Qualifications Needed:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT (Early Career Teacher) status.
- A relevant University degree in English or a related subject.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
