Role
We seek an experienced and empathetic English teacher to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SLD, and PMLD. You will deliver engaging and differentiated literacy instruction tailored to diverse learning styles and developmental needs.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience
Minimum 6 months of experience teaching SEN students in UK schools. Experience working with students below Key Stage 1 (KS1) is highly desirable.
Skills
Proven ability to adapt English teaching methods for diverse learners with SEN.
Proficiency in using alternative literacy milestones and assessment frameworks.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Strong understanding of various SEN needs and adaptive teaching methodologies.
Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team (SENCOs, therapists, support staff).
Commitment to creating a safe and encouraging classroom environment.
Ability to assist with personal care needs as required (depending on student needs).
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
Possess a current enhanced DBS check (or be willing to obtain one).
Have proven experience teaching SEN students in UK schools
