Duties:
- Curriculum Delivery: Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in English Language and Literature across specified Key Stages (e.g., KS3 and GCSE).
- Assessment and Feedback: Mark and assess student work accurately and promptly, providing high-quality, actionable feedback that drives improvement.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a purposeful and positive learning environment, upholding high standards of behaviour and respect.
- Student Support: Track student progress, identify learning barriers, and implement targeted interventions (e.g., literacy support) to help all students achieve their potential.
- Collaboration: Attend departmental meetings, contribute to curriculum development, and work closely with colleagues and parents.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
- Commitment to student progress and safeguarding.
